GoPro recalls new Karma drone over safety concerns

GoPro has announced the recall of all Karma drones sold since sales launched last month. The company said it is recalling all of the approximately 2,500 Karma drones it has sold due to instances when power cut out during flight.
“Safety is our top priority,” GoPro founder and chief executive Nicholas Woodman said in a release announcing the recall yesterday. “A very small number of Karma owners have reported incidents of power failure during operation.”

Intex launches two new multimedia speakers starting at Rs 5,700

Intex IT 6020 SUFB is priced at Rs 5,700 and will be available through the company’s distribution networks
Intex has announced the launch of two new channel 5.1 and 2.1 speakers – the IT 6020 SUFB and IT 9500 SUFB respectively. Intex claims that both speakers come with features that ‘makes them stand out from other speakers currently available in the market’.

Features on the speakers include – a built in FM radio, USB/SD card reader and AUX support. In addition, the speakers come with a LED display and a fully functional remote control.
The output power on the IT-6020 SUFB series is reported to be- 40W+15Wx15, and 30W+30W on the IT-9500 SUFB. The FM receiver on both the speakers operate between ’88MHZ-108MHZ’, frequency range. The IT-9500 SUFB is slightly heavier at ‘13.6KG’ than the IT-6020 SUFB which weighs in at ‘12.5Kg’.

Apple reduces pricing for new adapters of MacBook Pro 2016 after complaints

Apple has announced that it will be cutting the prices of its Thunderbolt 3 adapters, following a lot of complaint from users about the high pricing of the accessories. Considering that the new Apple notebooks start at $1,499, users need to spend a lot on peripherals considering the older generation MacBooks did not have any of the same ports.

Apple has completely redesigned its connecting ports with the new MacBook Pro 13-inch and 15-inch series, with the company offering a variety of accessories to make it compatible to all devices that do not support Thunderbolt 3. Apple has reduced the prices of its peripherals across the board, according to a Verge report.

Apple MacBook Pro price cut expected in 2017, new 32GB RAM variant: Report

Apple introduced its new series of 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro at its media event on October 27
Apple released its 2016 MacBook Pro lineup, but KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has said that he expects the Cupertino giant to drop the price of the new lineup, and even add 32GB RAM support next year.
Kuo noted that Apple usually launches its products at a higher price, and only does price cuts on the units in the new year that follows. He anticipates that the drop in prices will be coming during the second half of next year. Kuo additionally believes that customers will gravitate towards the new MacBook’s once the USB-C market matures along with the Touch Bar.

Apple’s0 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar launched on October 27, and will take a couple of weeks to ship in India
At its event on October 27, Apple unveiled its newest MacBook Pro, which is the thinnest and the lightest one yet. The new MacBook Pro has seen the exit of the function key on the keyboard, which is replaced by a new ‘Retina-quality’ multi-touch display – known as the Touch Bar. The new MacBook Pro also sees the integration of a larger Force Touch trackpad.  The new Touch ID feature on the MacBook Pro allows users to quickly unlock the Mac and use Apple Pay on the web.
